Sensei Ryan is the head instructor of Average Joe karate and founder. Aside from Shotokan Karate, Ryan has cross trained in freestyle karate and jiu jitsu, and loves sport karate. Ryan holds a nidan in shotokan karate, and is a recognized blackbelt with FSKA, International Independent Martial Artists Association (IIMAA), and Shotokan Karate-Do International Association (SKDIA). Ryan has been a proud affiliate instructor with FSKA since 2024.
